Computer Training
Learn how to use the Internet with ARPA's one-on-one personalised training. We can teach email, Web search, Web use, setting up, preferences, virus protection, scanning, adding photos to emails, etc. Lessons are held at the ARPA Office on Monday pm and Thursday am at a cost of $2 per session. ARPA News
This is the Association’s newsletter and it is posted to members every two months. Each edition has a complete "wrap up" of upcoming events, group profiles, items of interest, classified advertisements etc and is essential reading.
Retirement Information Service
This is a free service to members provided by volunteers with the expertise in retirement related issues, eg:
- Investments - Superannuation: commutation and/or pension
- Redundancy and voluntary separation packages
- Roll-overs
- Annuities etc.
- Social Security and Department of Veterans’ Affairs pensions (including the impact of overseas pensions on entitlements)
- Estate planning - Wills
- Enduring Powers Of Attorney
- Bequests to charities, children and grandchildren etc.
- Discretionary Testamentary Trusts etc.
